Nova Deli in Belleville

Highly recommended. If you have not tried Nova Deli then you should be going there. Been eating there for over 15 years well worth the stop in. Don't forget to try some down east pop

First off, I'm from Newfoundland, but lived in Halifax for 4 years so I know my Donairs ;) I go to a place in Oshawa and London for east coast donairs and both places are fantastic. Last year I was working in Trenton and wanted to go to Nova Deli, but it was closed when I went. On my way back to Toronto from Belleville plugged in Nova Deli and didn't realize there was a location right across from my hotel so stopped there instead of Trenton. Pretty good donair! Not sure whey anyone would put toppings other than tomoto and onion, but I guess it's a mainland thing. Anyways, the service was great, the donair was great, everything was great. A little pricier than Oshawa, but worth it. I'll be back again!

Favorite place to eat out by far. Whenever I've moved away from the Belleville area, this is one of the things I missed the most.

1st time having a Donair. #deliciousness in your mouth. Yummo. This is sooo yummy. I'm telling you. The meat in there and the sauce. Omgggg the sauce makes it so worth the mess.

Great food, a bit pricy, but the interior is the same as the day it opened about 15 years ago, so it's old. A renovation would be awesome!

Rude!!! Whether the owner or lady. Just rude and obnoxious. They seem to think you are disturbing them and hate when you order after 6:30 when they close at 7. Customers are definitely treated as an inconvenience.

Good donair. Sauce is good. Meat is good. Service is good.. just dont let the donair sit for more than 20 mins or it gets soggy

Absolutely LOVE the product here, pricey but for the quality I’ll pay it. This place was a favourite of ours but I hadn’t been in years due to the absolutely horrid costumer service I received from the owners son. I decided today to give it a chance again and was very pleased to be served by someone new. The girl was very polite, friendly and had great costumer service and hygiene skills. Hope to continue having the great service once again.

Donairs, halifax style, are all about this place. Was pretty good, but not the greatest value. Simple is the focus and it worksThe place itself is a real dive... so keep expectations accordingly. The toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a week. Lone staff member seemed pretty busy but was very friendly.

Best donairs!

The Nova Scotia-style donairs here are definitely worth return visits! The owner is usually there and he's a hilarious guy. The donairs are pretty messy by definition, so they always throw in a wet-nap. The prices are getting a bit high these days, so a Medium is probably all anyone needs.

We ordered wacky Wednesday. The lady said that wasn't what we ordered. This is after she confirmed that 2 drinks came with the order. The lady was rude and gave my fries to the guy that came after me. Then said that she was happy because there were no more potatoes so she wouldn't have to make more fries. Then the owner came with potatoes.Terrible service, long wait. Food wasn't worth the wait or bad attitude of the lady that served us. I will never return. Ever.

Horrible horrible service. The previous owner was charming and would do anything for you. He knew client service. We spread the word. Our five kids did the same. Our friends and family won't go back. Each have experienced such Rude service. The cook calling his customers stupid, not selling extra sauce, not taking your order but rather yelling to you from the kitchen" what do you want on your next donair". If it's a learning disability, work with paper in order to provide your clients with better service. Food isn't fantastic like it once was. Very disappointing. My son decided going to a burger joint down the street was better than dealing with the disrespectful service. Won't be going back

It was ok. I had to wait a really long time for the fries. Also, $5.99 for fries and you get a massive order for 2 people. Why don’t they sell an individual fry size for one person at like $2.99. I had to pay more and only ate half. A waste of food. I probably wouldn’t return after my first experience. Restaurant is a little run down on the inside and kind of dirty. The donair was ok but not the best I have had.

I work at a financial institution up the road and one of their employees stopped by out of the blue and dropped off free donairs and drinks! Thanks a lot guys !!

True authentic Donair. I had a few donairs recently in Halifax and this one might have been better. They should make Donair pizza and Donair poutine too. Donair everything!

As close to the real thing as you’re going to get in Ontario!!

It's usually really good when I go and the guy is great, but today we got 2 large Donairs were done wrong either missing something or having something we didn't ask for as well as 2 orders of fries, we asked for them well done and we got them soggy af. We didn't notice all this till we got back home. If it wasn't for the fact that we live all the way across town and the roads/weather are bad I'd be bringing it all right back. Not impressed at all.

Stopped today for lunch take out. The gal making and serving the counter was polite and friendly, which is what the place was lacking in the past. Service was fast and the donair was delicious. 9$ for a small, that's all you need. I felt like it might have been a little light on the meat, but I didn't feel cheated. I am excited to try the "neat donair" Every thing but the wrap and less messy.. :)I will be back for one of those.
